The morning dawned quite early. I was up and ready, armed with a bottle of water and my camera! The beach closest to where i was staying was the Calangute Beach, a short walk away…
Not a soul around
Nor a sound i could hear
But for the lashing waves
I stood there
Eyes fixed on the sky
as the cool water
from the ocean
teased my toes beneath…
The sun rose
oh so gently
yonder, behind the trees
like a child
playing peek a boo..
The rays,
gently lighting up
the sky….
I cherished that moment
i enjoyed the silence
