Yet another poem that i wrote for the Read-meet we had on 13th Oct at Mocha… the theme was Rain or beverage… one could either write on them individually or combine em as well. since my brain cells were a bit dried up , these were what i came up with…. 🙂
new day has dawnedsleep beckons
as i toss and turn
the aroma,
levitating me from the bed
senses, working overtime
following the trail
walking, as if in a daze
all i know now
is i need that brewing liquid
to jostle me from this
sweet sleep…

Coffee is something i rarely drink 1st thing in the morning but i see ppl all around yearning for that hot cuppa that i was drawn to it and wrote this verse….
