Saturday was one hellova day!! your probably thinking i did something wacko, or partied hard.. nope, sorry to burst your bubble, but it was quite a hectic day.. had a meeting with big wigs in the afternoon, which went on from 3 to 6.30.. and then sauntered towards Anokhi for a cuppa coffee, and a bite to eat before heading to Park Sheraton for the Play [click on that to read all about it]…

Anyways, play and dinner came to an end around 11.30, which is when me and my girl friends came down stairs to make our way outside to the cab that was waiting for us [see what sensible girls we are… called for a cab when we realised it was gettin really late, and since we all lived close to each other, it worked out well]… as i was walking out the main door, i thought i saw a familiar face and i was stunned… excited… kicked… and just Excited [ok, am getting excited thinking about it..lol] … it was P, a college friend of mine, who i hadnt seen in about 5years or so… we did stay in touch, every now and then chatting up over the messenger, etc… a sweet thing, who’s been through a lot… [now, lets not get into that.. thats all in the past.. she is now happily married]

It was at that very moment, she too turned, and we just went into a big scream followed by a Huggg and Hieee, how u doing girl…. kinda screech!!! Its been long since i was this happy… she intro’d me to her hubby, and mentioned it was his bday and they were there for dinner… Gosh, i couldnt get over the excitment for quite a bit.. told my other friends, S and V, who were waiting for me to head home all about P…. 🙂

is this whats called destiny? we’ve known each other for over a decade
spent half being away
and now we meet.. of all the places, at the lobby of Park Sheraton!!!
Talk about ironies of life!!! 🙂
